Since starting this blog I've personally found, and I'm confident Anne has too, that I tend to see people through a different "filter".... a filter of hospitality. I made an effort before the blog as well, but it's opened up another level in my life. This takes practice and I'm finding it to be SO FUN!! Not that fun is the motivation, but in this journey of being a hospitable Christian, God wants us to enjoy what He's called us to....
I wanted to give you a scripture to encourage you in your journey to become more hospitable.
"Here is a simple, rule-of-thumb guide for behavior: Ask yourself what you want people to do for you, then grab the initiative and do it for them." (Matthew 7:12a MSG)
Find someone to "do for" today! I know you'll find that making an effort will come around and affect your life in more ways than one! :)
