Hawaiian Hospitality

Aloha!!  As many of you know, my family and I are off to Maui in a few short days.  I am looking forward to doing a little research on Hawaiian hospitality while we are there.  The pineapple is a symbol of hospitality - of welcome.  There is an abundance of pineapples in Maui and we always enjoy this yummy fruit in many different ways.  During my trip I will be posting about how the Polynesian people and the local people of Maui are hospitable to the guests that come to the island and just over all.  You will see some history of the pinapple and other symbols of welcome in the Hawaiian culture.  Stay tuned!
